Beautiful In Black Dress!
Hello my Lovelies! Here are some pictures I made for you to inspire you! I am wearing my current favourite dress and I also made a list of 7 things I am loving at the moment.
- Waking up at 6 am. I’ve become such an early bird (in every sense of the phrase, and by that I mean I’m dozing off by 9pm…NO MATTER where I am! At work, on the couch, in the Club! Lol! My friends have dubbed me Sleepy, as in the Dwarf from Snow White, and to be honest with you, I don’t mind!). I get to bed early and I’m up early! And just like the French say… “La vie appartient à ceux qui se lèvent tôt.” which in English means “Life belongs to those who rise early!” So ha, that’s my defence! I also get to do a lot of my errands in the morning and it makes room for other things that I like to get up to.
- Reading Biographies. I wasn’t the type to pick up a book about another persons life, I don’t know why, I guess I just always darted for the fiction or self help section, to get lost in a story from a completely different time or get my mind and ish together if need be. But lately I’ve been inspired to read about people, especially women who have made a mark in their areas of expertise, be it in talent, knowledge or just life in general. I’m currently readingShirley Bassey’s by John L. Williams, and not only is she my name sake, she’s of a similar background as I am, and I wanted to get to know what her triumphs and challenges coming up in her industry were. I’m excited to read more. Maybe I’ll write a review when I’m done on here! I have also read books on Michelle Phan and Zoella. These girls have made great names and became very famous by making Youtube videos and writing on their blog.
- I love eating Chicken and Zalm, on dairly basis. Zalm fish is full with protein and contains less fat. I avoid pork meat as much as I can.
- Bare faced-ness. Yes I love makeup, but lately I’ve been loving going makeup free more, and only ever wear it when I’m filming, shooting or going out to a special event. My skin has been doing a lot of breathing, and it feels great!
- Grace In Christ on Tumblr. I looooove her Tumblr page! So full of inspiration and words of wisdom (not just for Christians), and every now and again I take a peek and I leave her page learning something new and feeling good! Check it out here:www.graceinchrist.tumblr.com
- Wearing colour! I’ve been so inspired to step out of my neutral comfort zone and try out new colours and silhouettes (as you’ve probably seen in my recent posts!) and I’m loving it! With that being said I do still love my neutrals and I believe a Lookbook dedicated to them is way overdue! I was inspired by a very good friend of mine to wear more colours on my Face, dresses and shoes. It makes you feel happier and more alive.
- Zoe London. She is a fellow YouTuber and Blogger, who is extremely lovely, online and in person too, and I love to watch her videos. Her voice is soothing and her humour is right up my street! Her makeup tutorials are of great quality and even though we have very different styles, I still appreciate her! what she does. Maybe one day I may take the plunge and dye my hair (*cough* my weave) blue! lol! Check out her channel here:https://www.youtube.com/user/thelondonlipgloss
What and who are you loving right now? I’d love to know, so comment down below!
I love you!

My Perfect First Beauty Vlog Ever!
HI MY LOVES! Thank you for stopping by I got inspired by my
best friend to start vlogging! So here is my very first vlog. I am very excited
about it. I hope you enjoy it
First off, I always take my bath two times a day in order to
keep me clean the whole day. I advice you to always use Bath Oil from Nivea or
other brands. I also love using Vaseline because It is an awesome product for
persons with dry skin.
So few days ago, I got some awesome present from my previous
boss and friend where I used to work in Rotterdam, the shop is called Parfum Star.
Th first item is Givenchy face tonic. I love how it smells and how my face
feels so calm after applying it.
Secondly I also got Gucci Rush and Dolce and Gabana perfume! I
love perfums because it soooo refreshing! I also use Braun product I got from
Fonq webshop in The Netherlands. It has helped me to clear my intence Acne. After
cleaning my face with the Braun product, I apply day or night cream. I am
loving Mary Kay day and night creams.
My current favourite perfums are Guerlin and Gucci rush. My
out of the day is Levi. I have the Levi jeans for over 1 year, it is very
durable perfume. The Levi Jeans and T shirt is from Wehkamp in The Netherlands.
Wehkamp sells all kind of fun stuff such as clothing for male, female kids,
electronics, home utencils and more. Few momnts later, I went to do some
groceries in The Supermarket. My favourite super markets in the Netherlands,
are Emte, Albert Heijn, Lido, Aldi. I do like to pick out very healthy items
while doing my groceries, for instance I drink half volle milk instead of
Volle. I bought some cool items for breakfast, lunch and dimmer. In case you
were wondering, my favourite meal is Rice and chicken and my favourite juice is
called Cool best.

How to Deal With Burnout!
I love my
job, but I do try as much as possible to avoid burn out. Burnout, which is brought on by
chronic stress, can cause problems with physical and mental health,
relationships, work and more. Burnout doesn’t just happen from working (or
studying) long hours, but constant stress can spiral out of control if not
handled properly. If you feel you might be on the cusp of burnout, making sure
to rest and re-evaluate can prevent a meltdown before it’s too late to manage
and keep a normal lifestyle.
Being cautious of the damage that the burnout could cause can help you realise you need to slow down ansd take it easy. But we often get pushed aside for external fctors, like career success and study goals. If you know how burnout can affect your work, you make prevention a priority

My advice
for you is to take a break, ensure proper good night rest, and eat properly.
Taking a break makes you more productive. You can take a break from your work
by going for a vacation.

My Favourite Fruits
Hello my beautiful friends! I just wanted to share with you my
favourite fruits. Orange, strawberries and kiwi. I know so many people does not
like fruits, but fruits is very good for the skin and full with vitamin c. In
case you do not like fruits, you can try to make some milk shake combining
fruits to it or slice some kiwi in an icecream. I very good friend of mine gave
me a very delicious Italian drink. It was a mixture of blended chocolate, gin
and lemon. I think its something we all can make at home. I know some ladies
who uses cucumber on their face as beauty routine.
My little advice for those of you facing some challenges, always
remember time heals every wound. Just keep your heads up and stay positive! In
stressful and stormy life moments like past weeks I always remind myself that “this
too shall pass”. Everything comes and goes…nothing is forever, therefore we must
learn to embrace the stormy weather of our lives and perhaps even dance under
the rain. I do love to hear from you what your favourite fruits is.
Love you,
xx

3 ELEMENTS YOU NEED TO MAKE THAT CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE | INSPIRATION, MOTIVATION & CONFIDENCE
Hello lovelies, these are some things you need to change your life!
INSPIRATION
You need to be inspired by what you see, feel and here. Look around you, search deep down and ask yourself, what my passion is. If you are able to answer that question sincerely, work towards it. Never work on the dark side of life. You do make mistakes, learn from it and move on. Do not let your mistakes weigh you down but rather use it as an opportunity to learn some lessons.
‘Creating mood boards, searching the internet, and looking up to others is a great way to give yourself focus and inspiration for what changes you actually want to see in your life. For me I like to create inspiration boards in lots of areas but specifically Relationships, Body & Business. My advice, determine your key life areas and get that inspiration up. You can use social media tools such as Pinterest to create mood board for inspiration.
MOTIVATION
Its great t be inspired. I gain a lot of inspirations from taking a long walk in the city or in the park, reading magazines, surfing the internet and social media. Do not be carried away by what you see on virtual life because some of what you see is not real. You might want to listen to some great inspirational speakers as well such as Bob Proctor.
CONFIDENCE
Confidence is very important in life, Just ike the bible says, ask and ye shall be given, seek en ye shall find, knock and it shall be open. Try to find the confidence to chase your dream. Alhough, confidence does not just happen, it requires lots of self-discipline and it depends on your state of mind.
Being in shape also helps to boost your confidence. Try to wear the proper cloths, practise good hygiene, eat well and catch some sound sleep.

Happy Weekend Lovelies!
Hello my beautiful friends! It’s been a crazy busy week for me. Lots is
happening- renting, letting go of people, working on projects that have been
dragging on for months and so on. In stressful and stormy life moments like
past week I always remind myself that “ this too shall pass”. Everything comes
and goes…nothing is forever, therefore we must learn to embrace the stormy
weather of our lives and perhaps even dance under the rain. Here are some
pictures weating my favourite handbags and dresses. I have been wearing the
black Guess bag this period. My second favourite handbag for this month is
DKNY. I bought the bag two months ago from De Bijenkorf in The Netherlands. It
still looks very nice. I do advice you to invest some money and buy a quality
hand bag such as DKNY, Michael Kors, Guess, Gucci, Prada, Armani, Louis Vulton,
these brands are great and are very durable.
I hope these looks inspires you.

Haha I’d love to hear about some of your weekly favorites as well,
so remember to leave me a comment or send me an e-mail once you are done
reading the favorites.

NEW YEAR! TOOTH FOR THOUGHT!
Here we are again2016! Time do flies! January has already come to
an end. We are now in the beautiful month of February and valentines day is
alround the corner.
it feels unbelievable really that another year has come back
around so quickly…
I have been asking myself several questions such as what did I
achieve last year? Did I meet some of my goals? What are my objectives for this
year?
Have things cropped up that I never expected? hell yes! Can I
change the past? no. Can I embrace the present and have hope for the
future?….for sure.
I do advise my amazing readers out there,
if life throws lemon at you, make a lemonade out of it.
Life can be though at times. But like the saying goes, when the
going gets though, the though gets going.
Here are some of my few tips for you to meet your goals this here:
1. Focus is key- Distraction was something that has always plagued
me although I can be highly productive, I’m also skittish at times. So this
year I’m making it the year of ‘the one’. One vision, One moment, One hour,
One day at a time.
2. Excellence – There have been moments,
due to rushing/ lack of time and focus, I haven’t given as much as I’d have
liked to tasks, people, work & many other little things in my life. I find
that guilt racks me when I haven’t done my best, and I am a harsh critic.
However moving forward, being confident in the effort that I have made, will be
a key driver for challenging myself further.
3. Love without bars – limits,
preconceptions, rules and boundaries. I don’t mean this in a romantic sense
although it definitely applies in relationships. I mentioned recently that I
felt a ‘closing up’ within myself, a distrust and shying away from people and
interactions due to past hurts and pains, but in reality I realised that the
only person this hurt was me. The weight of suspicion is much heavier then
being the innocent and sometimes foolish open-armed person that I was. This
year I’ll be making more efforts to love endlessly.
I hope these tips were helpful!
Stay fabulous!

Happy 2016!
Hello my amazing friends! I am so sorry I have not posted for a while! I have been very busy. How is your 2016 going so far? I feel like for me it’s going to be a year full of big positive changes both personally and professionally. How do I know that? Well, simple because I choose to envision it and believe it. What else is there left to do, haha? Life isn’t perfect, there are constant ups and downs, however whining and complaining is not an option and never makes it to my agenda anymore.
Stay positiveand believe in God!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
